ANTIQUE CHINESE WINDOW EXHIBIT USHERS IN LUNAR NEW YEAR
Crystal Window & Door Systems Private Collection On Exhibit in Flushing

FLUSHING, NY, January 18, 2008 - Crystal Window & Door Systems is pleased to announce that part of the personal art collection of its president Thomas Chen will be the upcoming feature exhibit of the exciting Lunar New Year Celebration at historic Flushing Town Hall. For the entire month of February, Mr. Chen's antique Chinese wooden window and door collection will be on display at the landmark cultural center in Flushing, Queens. Crystal will mark the Lunar New Year at Flushing Town Hall on February 9, 2008, with an invitation-only evening reception highlighted with a performance by internationally renowned violinist Christopher Wong.

The Crystal antique Chinese wooden window and door collection is comprised of over 100 original pieces preserved from various structures in Mainland China. Each piece is a work of art unto itself, exquisitely and intricately hand-carved with detailed scenery and traditional designs. Some pieces are several hundred years old. Information on the history of Chinese windows and doors as they relate to Chinese culture and philosophy accompanies the exhibit. "Most people would not consider building products works of art, but I was captivated by the beauty and craftsmanship of the wooden windows and doors I saw when I traveled in China," said Mr. Chen. "I am certain that exhibit visitors will be as thrilled to see these magnificent pieces as I am to share them with the public."

Crystal is the primary sponsor for the month-long festival at Flushing Town Hall, which includes the antique window and door exhibit, traditional music and dance performances, lectures, tea ceremonies and other cultural events designed to bring the essence of Asian culture to the community. "This display of unique and utilitarian art is a beautiful, visual way to recognize the Lunar New Year. This is definitely not the typical dragon and firecracker display so often associated with Chinese New Year celebrations," noted Mr. Chen.

The Antique Chinese Window and Door Exhibit, sponsored by Crystal Window & Door Systems, is open to the public February 1-29, 2008, Tuesday through Sunday, from noon to 5:00 P.M.
