CRYSTAL ANNOUNCES TERRACE DOOR “IN-SWING” OPTION
Heavy-Commercial Rated Aluminum Door Available as Either Out- or In-Swing Model

FLUSHING, NY, March 19, 2007 - Crystal Window & Door Systems recently introduced an “in-swing” option for its popular heavy-commercial rated Series 1400 aluminum swing terrace door. The Series 1400 Terrace Door is especially well suited for replacement and new construction high-rise building applications. The Crystal Series 1400, now available in either standard out-swing or optional in-swing, complements a growing line of heavy-commercial products and features the company has introduced in recent years.

The in-swing Series 1400 was tested by an independent national laboratory and achieved an outstanding AAMA test rating of ATD-HC50. The terrace door features an extra heavy-duty 3-1/4” frame depth and 1” insulated tempered glass unit. A 3-point lock system (4-point for units over 84” in height), as well as solid European hardware and handles, are standard on the door. The terrace door’s aluminum extruded frame and sash are thermally broken using a polyamide Insul-Bar system for enhanced energy efficiency, added strength, and easy accommodation of two-tone color specifications.

Many customization options are offered with Crystal’s Series 1400 Terrace Door. Besides custom and two-tone color choices, special finishes such as anodizing and Kynar are available. Double door combinations, with or without meeting astragals, kick-panel inserts, and matching overhead transoms, complete the new terrace door product line.
