The Child Center of New York Honors Crystal Executive Steve Chen
- Manufacturing Executive Vice President Recognized For Dedication to Center¡¯s Work -

FLUSHING, NY, March 31, 2009 ¨C Crystal Window & Door Systems¡¯ Executive Vice President Steve Chen was honored by The Child Center of New York at its annual fundraising gala event on March 28, 2009 for his ongoing commitment in support of the organization. Almost 300 people turned out to celebrate at The Child Center Annual Dinner Dance held at Terrace on the Park last Saturday, enjoying live music, a silent auction and heartwarming testimonials and success stories.

Along with Steve Chen, The Child Center also honored James Carpenter of New York Community Bank, Dr. Jatin Shah of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Hank Auffarth of Herald Bank. ¡°It was Hank Auffarth who first introduced my father Thomas to The Child Center years ago when it was known as the Queens Child Guidance Center, and my father quickly became an advocate¡± said Steve Chen in his remarks. ¡°Now I am proud to be an advocate for the Center as well, and I am truly honored by this recognition.¡±
