QUEENS, NY – August 8, 2025 – National manufacturer Crystal Window & Door Systems is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Daniel Gonzalez as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Mr. Gonzalez joins a leadership team led by Chairman and Founder Thomas Chen, CEO Jeffrey Smith, President Steve Chen, and CFO John P. Christie.
In his role as CIO, Mr. Gonzalez will oversee all IT applications and infrastructure across Crystal’s facilities—including its subsidiaries—to drive operational efficiencies and support technology-driven manufacturing. Reporting directly to the CFO, he will lead efforts to align systems across sales, production, delivery, and administrative functions like financial accounting and reporting. This streamlined approach aims to offer real-time information access and consistency for both strategic and operational decision-making.
Prior to joining Crystal, Mr. Gonzalez served as Global Vice President of IT at international packaging company Truvant, where he directed ERP implementation across North American locations. His career also includes senior IT roles at Jeld-Wen, overseeing technology for over 60 facilities across North and South America, and as Senior IT Manager at Republic Elite Industries in Texas, managing IT operations and ERP rollout.
